Testimonials
The lessons I learned helped me move forward in life, to obtain my GED, how to be squared away, and how to be patient. After graduation I joined the United States Navy and it has been the best decision I have made, thank you TCA.

This program taught me discipline, gave me confidence, and showed me that anything worth having is worth fighting for. This program gave me a second chance and the ability to prove that I was not just another statistic.

Subject: Thank you Mr. Robinson, you’re a hero who changed my life
Message Body:
Good afternoon Mr. Robinson
Sir!! It gives me great joy to send you this message. I was doing some self work in a book I’m reading. The subject it had me examine and meditate on today was my roots, in particular the people who have helped me in success and fulfillment.
You to this day have impacted my life for the better!! Though there have been some dark years for me as it happens to us all, in general every year I have gotten better and stronger and in many ways living in life, a significant part of that comes from the life and leadership skills you taught me.
I can certainly talk a while about the skills but I wanted to emphasize first, the TIME you took to help me. You saw I was your typical case and without guidance Id be doomed for a rough experience. You took me aside to keep me safe but you did more than that, you taught me to be strong!!! You pushed me as needed, held me accountable, and understood where my limits were.
To do that I know took TIME and EFFORT you could of used for yourself, other cadets and you did it selflessly. You saved me from dumb decisions and supported me even when I let you down. You trained me well to be great!!
Seeing your example of how a true comprehensive man leads was a privilege. The way your able to deal with people of all backgrounds, communicate so powerfully and seemingly effortlessly, and call things for how and what they are, I am in still in awe of.
If you possible I wanted to visit you at the academy and/or for lunch to chat. I live in Winston-Salem now but would enjoy to visit and I have a few days next month I’ll be around the way any for music.
I know your busy building up these great young men so I don’t want to take up your time possibly feeling a long reply is needed, though the Mr. Robinson I know isn’t a long reply guy!! 🙂
I just wanted to say truly thank you. You changed my life for the better, I am grateful God sent you sir.
