06 July 2019  In-Processing Day. Report to Salemburg, NC for “Acclimation Phase Training.”

07-21 July 2019   “Acclimation Phase Training” at TCA/Camp Butner, NC

03 August 2019  Family Day Visit #1 begins at 10:00 AM (Drill & Ceremony Competition)  Parents may sign out their Cadet at 11:00 AM and must return no later than  3:00 PM.

12 August 2019  Classroom Instructions Begins

17 August 2019 Mentor Training #1 (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Training for Mentors Only).   ** (SEE NOTE)

24 August 2019  Mentor Training #2 (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Training for Mentors Only).   ** (SEE NOTE)

14 September 2019  Family Visit #2 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Parents may sign out their Cadet at 11:00 AM and must return no later than 3:00 PM.        Progress Reports go home. (Mandatory Parent Training @10:00AM).

22 September 2019  Mentor Visit #1 All TEAMS   1:30PM – 4:30 PM *** (SEE NOTE)

12 October 2019  First Home Pass for all Cadets. Parents or Mentors may sign Cadets out starting at 11:00 AM. (Mandatory Parent Training @ 10:00AM ).   Progress Reports go home.

14 October 2019  Sign in will begin at 4:00 PM.  All Cadets must be signed in by 6:00 PM. The Dining Facility is closed. Please ensure that your Cadet has eaten prior to returning to campus.

14 October 2019     Ring Money Due/ Walk-a-thon Money Due

27 October 2019  Mentor Visit #2 All TEAMS 1:30PM – 4:30 PM *** (SEE NOTE)

27 November 2019 Second Home Pass for all Cadets. Parents or Mentors may sign Cadets out starting at 2:30 PM. (Mandatory Parent Training @) 1:30 PM Final Progress Reports go home.

01 December 2019  Sign in will begin at 4:00 PM.  All Cadets must sign in by 6:00 PM. Dining Facility is closed.  Please ensure that your Cadet has eaten prior to returning to campus.

06 December 2019 Class 53 Graduation is 10:00 AM at Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center, 414 Warsaw Road, Clinton, NC 28328.

Pass Policy

We realize that some parents/legal guardians have to travel long distances to pick up and return their Cadet(s) on weekend and holiday passes.  With this in mind, if you know of another parent/legal guardian who could share the driving, please furnish us your authorization in writing for that adult to sign your Cadet out and in. You must comply with the sign out/sign in dates and times. If you have a conflict, contact the Commandant or Deputy Director immediately.  Your support of our program is critical, let us make it work together.

WHEN WRITING LETTERS TO YOUR CADET  AT TCA, PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS, ALONG WITH THEIR TEAM NUMBER

*** NOTE: Mentor visits are for Mentors only.  Please mark your calendars accordingly so that you can visit your Cadet on the assigned date.
