TCA New London Thanks Pastor Andy Jung

During these first years at TCA New London, one of our strongest supporters has been 1st Baptist Church of Albemarle and its pastor, Andy Jung. Whenever a need arose at the academy for the cadets, Pastor Jung and his congregation stepped up with not only financial support but the giving of their time as well.

On Tuesday, December 18, the staff at TCA New London prepared a special brunch for Pastor Jung to thank him for his dedication to the ChalleNGe program and congratulate him on his new position as Associate Executive Coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina. In his new position, Pastor Jung will work closely with CBFNC Executive Coordinator Larry Hovis, councils, ministry teams, committees, staff and partners to supervise ministry functions, ensure fulfillment of CBFNC’s vision and strategic plan, and provide day-to-day coordination of programs and ministries.

While we are sad to see Pastor Jung leaving his post at 1st Baptist, we are proud to announce this new appointment for him. Dr. Jung, we will miss you at TCA-New London but wish you much success!
