TCA NL Class 59 Page Program
This week, select cadets participated in the North Carolina House Page program, “Youth Learning Through Serving.”
The North Carolina legislative website states, “this program offers young men and women the opportunity to learn about, and participate in, the legislative process of our state.” The chosen cadets spend four days observing firsthand how our laws are made.
The website also states “house Pages are important to the operation of the General Assembly as they assist the Members and staff of the House during the legislative session.” The cadets engage in daily legislative sessions, committee meetings, and perform such duties as delivering messages and materials within the legislative complex, completing mailings for Members, and passing out documents or running errands in the House Chamber during daily sessions.
Congratulations to the following cadets for being chosen to participate in the page program
Team 1; Nolasco-Matute, Jacobs, Young. Team 2; Breza, Harris, Lowder, Torres, Ward, Woodard. Team 3; Millan, Perdue, Robinson Fields
