TCA – NL Drill and Ceremony

TCA – NL Drill and Ceremony

On Saturday, May 13, 2023 TCA New London held the class drill and ceremony exercises. With each new class, cadets prepare for the D&C ceremony by learning how to march as a group and following the commands of the team cadet leader. Cadets are judged on regulation movements as well as a “fancy” routine the cadets design and execute themselves.

All three teams did an excellent job and TCA New London is proud of the cadets’ efforts to learn this new skill of marching and moving as a team. Congratulations to Team 3 for winning both the regulation and fancy drill exercises. We would like to thank the families and friends of Class 60 cadets who came out and showed their support. After the completion of the ceremony, cadets enjoyed the rest of the afternoon spending time with their families. We would also like to thank SFC Derrick Cox and SSC Andy Renfro from the North Carolina National Guard for being our judges for this ceremony.
