Salemburg Tarheel ChalleNGe Class 53 Candidates transition to Cadet Status.

Over the past four weeks, TCA candidates have worked very hard to overcome obstacles and hardship during the tough “Acclimation Phase” portion of the program.  Accepting the 5:30 am wake ups and the frequent and often grueling “PT”, not to mention sore muscles, was not easy.  For many, it seemed impossible.  The candidates participated in a “Phase Change” Ceremony on Friday, August 3^st, 2019 and were elevated to their new status of “Cadet” by Commandant King.  All 124 candidates accepted the challenge and met the criteria to become Cadets and will continue their journey of redirection to create more positive options for their future.
