TCA New London Observes Memorial Day

Cadets at TCA New London observed Memorial Day participating in a service-to-community project assisting Stanly County DAV Chapter 12 in placing US flags on the graves of deceased service members at Fairview Cemetery and Stanly Gardens of Memory.

The youth challenge program requires cadets to complete 8 core components in order to graduate. One of these core components is service-to-community and the purpose is to give cadets a sense of community and pride as well as instilling a sense of giving back.
