TCA New London Walk-A-Thon and 5K
On Saturday, July 22, 2023, TCA New London Class 60 held their semi-annual Walk-A-Thon and 5K race. Each class holds a walk-a-thon and has now incorporated the 5K race into the fund raising opportunities. It also supports multiple unified goals; to raise funds for the class military ball, class activity day, graduation gifts and completing an organized race/walk which many of the cadets have never done.
We would like to thank our parents and the community in collecting donations and participating in the event. We would also like to thank our partner Uwharrie Dash without who this event would not be possible. Uwharrie Dash handles the various facets of the race to include electronic sign-up, t-shirt design, race route duties, timing and multiple aspects it requires to conduct an event of this magnitude.
