TCA New London Participates in Wreaths Across America

On Saturday, December 14, all TCA New London cadets participated in National Wreaths Across America Day. Cadets placed wreaths on the graves of veterans at an Albemarle local cemetery, Fairview. 2000 wreaths were placed on graves of veterans and a ceremony was held at Stanly Gardens of Memory to commemorate the occasion. The Color Guard presented the colors while other Cadets participated in the celebration of “A Christmas Friendship to Remember.”  Falcon is a private not-for-profit institution that is focused on academic achievement, biblical worldview, and character development.

TCA Alumni Completes Basic Training

Tarheel Challenge Academy – New London cadet alumni Jeron Edgerton, Class 51, recently completed basic training with the US Army at Ft. Jackson and has moved to the next phase at Ft. On Friday, November 22, 2019, TCA Salemburg Class 53 cadets enjoyed their class activity day at Round-A-Bout Skating Center located in Fayetteville. During each class, cadets are required to participate in a Walk-A-Thon fundraiser where the proceeds from the donations provide graduation gifts, a military ball and the class activity day. On November 19, 2019, Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy Salemburg’s Color Guard presented the colors at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) Badge of Excellence Awards Ceremony. Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy Salemburg Veterans Day Parade.

On Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 the Cadets marched in the 99th  consecutive Veteran Parade held in Warsaw, North Carolina.  In 2016, former N.C. Governor Pat McCrory designated Warsaw’s parade as the official Veterans Day Parade in the state. This is the oldest consecutive Veterans Day Parade in America.
