Salemburg Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy Family Day – Class 67
Family Day is a highly anticipated event for Cadets and their families. The day begins with a spirited Drill and Ceremony Competition, where teams proudly showcase their newly acquired skills. Following the competition, Cadets are granted the opportunity to leave campus with their families, gather essential supplies, and enjoy a well-earned meal at a local restaurant—a welcome break from the academy’s Dining Facility.
This day holds special significance as it marks the first time in a month that Cadets and their families reunite. With traditional U.S. Mail as their only means of communication since in-processing, the long-awaited reunion is filled with joy, excitement, and heartfelt embraces-making Family Day an unforgettable experience for all.
