Once candidates are physically cleared to participate in the ChalleNGe program, they get introduced to physically demanding activities designed to force team building.  Many of the obstacles require candidates to depend on and trust in the other members of their team, whom they have known for only three or four days.  This is for many their first exposure to negotiating tough physical challenges where they must rely on their team members and their own grit and determination.
