TCA Salemburg Blood Drive

Class 60 held a blood drive for the American Red Cross.  Donors must be at least 16 years old to donate.  All eligible cadets are encouraged to participate with credit being earned towards their Service to the Community Component.

Salemburg Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy Class 60 Family Day February 4, 2023

Family Day was a big day for our cadets and their families.  It was the first time they have seen each other since In-processing.  Their only means of communication has been by US mail. You can only imagine the excitement on their faces as they embraced each other for the first time in four weeks.

Immediately after being cleared for physical activity, candidates were introduced to team-building exercises. The focus of these activities is to instill trust and confidence among the team members. Candidates had negotiate tough physical challenges that relied on their own grit and determination.

TCA Salemburg Raleigh Capitol Tour

TCA-S Class 59 recently visited the State Capitol.  On this tour, cadets visited the Legislative Building, the State Capitol, and the North Carolina Museum of History.  The Cadets enjoyed a fun-filled day of observing the North Carolina center of government and learning the History of North Carolina. 

TCA Talent Show

TCA-S cadets showcased their skills in the performing arts.  Several Cadets performed rap or musical renditions of their favorite artists. 

TCA Salemburg Camp Bower

Cadets engaged in rappelling exercises on the rappelling/zip-lining tower located on the 1000 acre reservation after learning Boy Scouts of America safety procedures and rules from certified BSA staff.
