On Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 the Cadets marched in the 99th consecutive Veteran Parade held in Warsaw, North Carolina. In 2016, former N.C. Governor Pat McCrory designated Warsaw’s parade as the official Veterans Day Parade in the state. This is the oldest consecutive Veterans Day Parade in America.
The Cadets were exposed to different colleges and asked questions. It was a great day to get as much information from the different colleges.

Cadets engaged in rappelling exercises on the rappelling/zip lining tower located on the 1000 acre reservation after learning Boy Scouts of America safety procedures and rules from certified BSA staff. We had a lot of great singers, Dancer, and Rappers in the Talent Show. The Cadets work very hard at practicing before the Talent Show. They did a great job!
Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy’s Class Walkathon was conducted to raise funds for the cadets and for scholarships. The walkathon was led by Director McNeill. Walkathon is a fun activity for the Cadets, Mentors, and Staff.
On Oct, 2019, a ceremony was held for Cadets earning a certificate of completion from the Extended Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) sponsored by the NC Cooperative Extension Agency, NC State University, and NC A &T State University. The EFNEP is a five-week National Nutrition Education Program that promotes eating smart and moving more. …
